Today, the Smaakhaven project was presented by Tourism Flanders in Antwerp. Smaakhaven will be a culinary experience center that will become the home of gastronomic Flanders and an open house where tastemakers, culinary entrepreneurs and enthusiasts can watch, taste, experiment, learn and meet.
During the Preview Day on Sunday 6 and Monday 7 October, the press, entrepreneurs, culinary experts and local residents were able to take a look behind the scenes and the project will be formally explained to the various stakeholders for the first time. Smaakhaven will open its doors in 2029 in the former Loodswezen building and the buoy shed on the Antwerp Scheldt quays.
Numerous Flemish innovative culinary entrepreneurs are joining the project, including Robi. Along with the Syropery we offered the press and visitors a nice glass of fresh water or soft drinks.
