Replace the water filter
Ensure clean water and a continuous supply by replacing your filter on time.
When do you need to change the filter?
It is important to replace your water tap filter on time. Our standard VAT Besttaste filter must be replaced annually. If you still have an old one 3M or Icepure If you have a filter, it must be replaced after 6 months. If you have a special filter If you have hard water, it should also be replaced every 6 months. In case of doubt, please contact us.

Waterfilter vervangen: instructies
Replacing the water filter takes just a few minutes. You can easily do this yourself, without tools. The video above explains it clearly, but we repeat the most important steps here.
1. Remove the protection from the new filter.
2. Unscrew the old filter by a quarter of a turn.
3. Put a bowl or place a mop under the filter, a few drops will fall out. The old filter is full of water, so place it upside down in the pump basin and let it drain. The old filter can then be disposed of with residual waste or a sorting point for water filters.
4. Turn the new filter back into the filter head clockwise.
5. Remember to note the date of replacement on the filter or attach one of the supplied stickers to it.
6. For BWT Besttaste filters: let 2 to 3 liters of water run through the filter via the special hose on the filter head. For 3M or Icepure filters: let water run through the filter (still water tap on the water tap) for just under 5 minutes to remove any air that might still be in the filter. First a bucket past the tap, then another liter via the tap water tap. Check for any leaks.
TIP: Collect this rinse water, you can use it to water the plants.
